While we remain hopeful for a healthier world this summer, we take COVID-19 extremely seriously and are prepared to do whatever is necessary to keep our dancers, dance families, faculty and staff safe.
We will continue to follow the CDC and CT guidelines, therefore we expect to adjust our safety protocol as needed. Our number one goal is to keep dancers and families as safe as possible.
-Every dancer, teacher, observer, Embody employee, etc will be masked for the entirety of the event. We will also be monitoring to make sure dancers and teachers are keeping masks over their nose.
-Temperature checks and health screenings: Each dancer will have their temperature checked upon entry each morning and will be sent a digital health screening form to fill out prior to checking-in at the event.
-While we currently are offering limited quantities of observer bands, if we do not feel it is safe, we will happily give refunds to observers.
- 6x6 spaced markers for each dancer.
-Capacity Restrictions. We are planning for less than 70% capacity including teachers, observers and employees but will follow all CDC and state guidelines at the time of the event and have plans in place to adjust when necessary, such as opening up additional space, etc.
-We are requesting that anyone attending Embody receive a negative COVID test 72 hours prior to the event. We understand this is not accessible for all and this is why it is not a requirement but it is a request.
-As long as it is available and accessible for all, we are requiring all employees and faculty members to receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine a minimum of ten days prior to the event.
